Artist's Comments

Character : 1380

The two headed one headed dragon 1380 - his name corresponds to his age in exact. His scale and wing color act as his indentifier.
1380 is a very emotional dragon (who wouldnt be - constantly feeling sensing the pain and last thoughts left over by your closest dead brother). However he can still sense his brothers soul in the 'heartstone' rested where his previous mobile head was.
1380 likes to blame things like leg aches wrong doings to his dead brother. He has lots of silent arguments inside with his soul XD - you know that when h e suddenly stops in his steps and stares blankly into nothingness
His wing arms - no-longer present has been literally 'removed'
leaving his wing membranes of which he remolded into the shape of a butterfly's wings.
the symbol you can see on his neck '丰' means 'useless' (in the Astral Language
these symbols are branded on the dragons who are about sentenced either to execution or wing/tail removal
1380 - not having a perfect name - is sentenced to have both his wings and heads cut.
Meteora recruites 1380 almost unwillingly as a ' bitter memory' for his closest astral guide and leader , one he named as ' pioneer' - Farsighter.

Intense... *reads* I loved his story--it gave him a place in my head; it's so detailed and full of reality. I love it. His tail design is really cute too--it looks almost like a fluke, but it is delicate enough to pass as a decoration, as well. ^^ Amazing character, I support it fully! *claps and calls*

Umm.... Okay... Well, the more I read about this, the more depressed I become, so good work there ^^; Seriously, poor guy... =(

Drastic measures indeed... Why did 1380 get sentenced for wing and heads removal, and why is he still alive? And why would someone even give such sentences? I guess the astral dragons are lead by either a cruel government (due to him being branded useless in the astral language), or the humans are either making, or experimenting on the astral dragons, and 1380 is one of those =(

Did he get that sentence because he didn't have a perfect name? ANd yeah... It seemed farsighter died in your story =( Well, that's no surprise, having seen the broken glass portrait ^^;

But yeah, as far as the art goes, wonderful job =) You are just as amazing as always, and you are managing to create astounding details. The colour scheme fits pretty nicely, and the details on ihs dead brothers "neck-stump" is pretty much very good =D

So yeah, you manage to make some very tragic, yet moving storylines to your characters, without making them look superficial, or cheesy, so great job there. I get depressed just reading about him, so you have really great writing skills =D

But a last question. Why do they have tail removal sentence? Is it just to humiliate the dragon, or is it to prevent them from acting normally?

it wasn't thaat much sad for me though - and I have much sadder stories kept for later on
I understand .. ;__;

I was thinking something about Astral dragons on the line of having a federal Agent style power
where they can postpone many different events through their standings. Aaand well - I can't say much here tho - b ut Meteora becomes and astral therefor can evict him from execution -
one thing more - don't you think his scale color and body outline look pretty similar to thatof farsighter ? XD

yep - The Astrals are very decentralised when it comes to federal powers - its more like independant states which span the whole planet. Theres nothing too cruel about their draconian govournment - its just strict - kinda like how bad examples should be removed etc.

I'm not gonna say anything about farsighter =P
That broken glass portrait was my first concept of the series , so it could be wrong XD

I Im amazing as you say , but my art to myself is not amazing enough, not even near to conquer those ones which are much better *sighs* I still have a long long way to go b efore I surpass the best ;___;
